About Maureen
I am a clinically trained and licensed Mental Health Counselor with a Master of Arts in Psychology, with a specialization in Counseling from the LIOS program of Saybrook University. My clinical experience prior to private practice includes working with children and families at a community mental health agency. I participate in regular professional training and consultation throughout the year.
Prior to becoming a therapist, I worked for twenty years managing social service programs supporting seniors, caregivers, people with disabilities, children, people with health care needs, homeless youth, and adults learning literacy skills. Much of my career has been in middle or upper management in non-profit and corporations. I am happy to use this experience to support you with workplace issues.
I consider the therapeutic space to be sacred. I create a safe and respectful container for my clients to explore the inner world and that which is most important and dear to them.
